Every part of life has its proper time, and God is Lord of the seasons.

What does “Seasons” mean in Ecclesiastes 3:1?
The Teacher begins a famous poem about the times of life: a time to be born, to plant, to mourn, to dance. The word season means an appointed time, a right moment for each purpose.
Going deeper
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. The poem that follows lists opposites: birth and death, weeping and laughing, searching and losing, speaking and silence. It offers a realistic picture of life. Not every season is pleasant, and not every season lasts. What comforts us is that there is a right time for each, and that it is not random.
Knowing this helps us live with more peace. If you are in a season of waiting, or grief, or exhausting work, you can remember that it is a season and not the whole of life. If you are in a season of joy, you can enjoy it without fear. Ask God what He is doing in the season you are in now. Ask what He wants you to receive, learn, or give. Live this season well, and trust Him with the next one.
