David wrote this psalm after a narrow escape, and he resolves to bless the LORD in every circumstance. The word continually means that praise is a steady stream, not an occasional event.

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. That is a big resolution, and David makes it in the middle of a life that was often dangerous and uncertain. At all times includes the hard times. Praise, for David, was not a reward for good days. It was a way of living, a decision to keep God at the center whatever was happening.
It may help to make praise practical. You can start and end your day with thanks. You can keep a short list of what God has done and add to it. You can sing or hum a song as you work, or pause to say, thank You, Lord, when something good happens. Praise trains our attention on who God is. Choose one small habit this week that turns your mouth and mind toward Him, and let it grow. Praise makes room for God.
