Doing good and sharing what we have are sacrifices that please God.

What does “Sharing” mean in Hebrews 13:16?
The writer joins two things: doing good and communicating, which here means sharing with others. He calls them sacrifices, offerings that God receives with pleasure.

The verse is short and practical: But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Notice that the writer calls ordinary kindness a sacrifice. Sharing what we have with someone in need is not less than worship. It is a form of it. God is pleased, not only by songs and prayers, but by generosity and practical help offered from a willing heart.
That can change how we view small acts of sharing. A bag of groceries, an hour of help, a loaned tool, or a meal is an offering God takes seriously. Think about what you have that you could share this week: time, money, food, space, or skill. Ask who needs it, and offer it without fanfare. It may cost you something, and that is part of what makes it a sacrifice. God is well pleased with such offerings. Generosity of this kind is a gift to them and a joy to you.
