It covers, meaning it forgives, overlooks small offenses, and refuses to spread them around. This does not mean pretending that wrong is right. It means that love does not go looking for another argument.
Think about a conflict in your life. Is there something you are stirring up, by rehearsing it in your mind or telling others about it? Ask whether love could cover it instead. That might mean letting a small offense go, or forgiving a larger one, or having a quiet conversation rather than a public one. Love does not ignore truth, but it puts peace first. Choose one strife to stop stirring up this week. Choosing peace over winning is not weakness, and it often protects a friendship that matters. Try it once this week and see what happens.
