What does “Wonderfully made” mean in Psalm 139:14?
David marvels at the way God formed him. The words fearfully and wonderfully suggest awe and wonder at the skill involved.

David says, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. He begins with praise, and the reason is himself. He looks at his own body and life and sees the skill of a Maker. The phrase fearfully and wonderfully suggests both reverence and amazement. And he says his soul knows it right well, meaning it is a truth deep within, not just a thought.
Many of us struggle to believe this about ourselves. We compare, criticize, and see only flaws. This verse invites a different view: you are the work of a careful Creator. It applies equally to everyone you meet. Today, thank God for one thing about the way He made you, and for one thing about someone else. Let praise replace self-criticism, at least for a moment. You are marvelously made, and so are they.
