God is good and ready to forgive everyone who calls on Him.

What does “Ready to forgive” mean in Psalm 86:5?
The word ready means prepared and willing, not reluctant. Plenteous in mercy describes a supply that does not run low.

David says of God three things: He is good, He is ready to forgive, and He is plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Him. Each description is about His character. He does not forgive grudgingly, after a long persuasion. He is ready, like a friend with an open door. And His mercy is plentiful, more than enough for every person who asks. The invitation is broad: all them that call upon thee.
If you have felt that God's patience must have run out with you, this verse answers. The supply is not limited. Approach Him without a script and without fear. All you need to do is call. If you have not talked with God for a while because you were ashamed, let this week be a return. Say His name, say what is true, and trust that He is ready. He has been waiting to hear from you.
